Here’s a new kind of music from a composer, with pop music, rock n roll and electronic music.

Something different to amuse you while listening to The Music of Marc Mellits.

This is like a documentary of his music and it’s something different to watch.

Duffy – Mercy

This video is embedded so click here to listen to Duffy Mercy

Duffy just came on the radio, I love this 50′s style song!

I know it’s not from the 50′s but it reminds me of that good old rock n roll.

She’s got a wicked voice!

I remember when they advertised her Cd at the movies, I’d get up and boogie in the theater and make people laugh.

Harold would grab me and hiss, “Sit Down!”  I’d say, “No!”

I didn’t care, I was having fun and who gives a s**** what they think?

I sure don’t!

I think we all need to start having more fun, especially if your in a stressful job!

Get up and boogie at your desk, while on a break, or take a break from what your doing, throw on some tunes and dance around the office.

Get your co workers involved create a mosh pit there in the corner in that alcove by the window. LOL

You’ll be having fun and getting some exercise, what boss would be stupid enough to stop that?

Unless your boss is a total sour puss then be discrete, find a broom closet, go outside, head to the lunch room.

I think the workplace should be a cool place to go.

Somewhere to kick back, come up with grand ideas, make some money then go home for the day and play on your toys when you get home.

Yes you heard me, buy yourself some toys.

No! Not just the ones you use in the bedroom, I’m talking about some game stuff, Wii and other things.

Set a timer, give yourself a 15 min to 1 hour break before you start cooking supper or doing household chores.

You need to take some time out everyday for yourself, and have FUN!

You’ll be more relaxed then tackle the bills, the laundry and your family, just don’t hit them too hard! LOL (tackle = football = in the house)

Rearranging The House

Well I spent the morning organizing the house and making it more useable.

After getting Harold to move the exercise bike into the bedroom and the chair out into the livingroom, then I looked at my messy and crowded office and unpacked my dads piano!

I played a few tunes, buddy upstairs bangs on the floor, so I turned it down and realized I’m pretty rusty after 20 years, but it’s like riding a bike, 10 minutes later I was remembering the notes.

The only songs I know are the ones I used to sing with my Dad years ago.

Praise and worship songs that we sang together at my wedding 23 years ago, in church since I was 7 and so on…

I sang some of the songs my Dad wrote and it felt good.

I felt like he was sitting there beside me while I was trying to play it.

It was like he was telling me what note to push, odd, warm feeling. :)

I finally hooked up my radio!

All this time I thought it was broken, the cord wasn’t plugged in!

There was a cord right beside it, plugged into the power bar, so I assumed it was my radio and thought about buying another one.

Today while moving the book shelf around I realized the cord was tucked in behind and wrapped around the other one.  They look identical!

That’s what I get for being too lazy to check it.

Honestly with 50,000 cords (I’m exaggerating) wrapped around each other and 3 power bars full of stuff I realized I’ve got too much stuff in ONE corner!

So I distributed it around the room.

I have enough common sense to not use it all at once!

Harold had plugged some game piece into the back of my VCR and it’s ruined the tuner in it!

WARNING don’t plug in any old game systems into the VCR!

He didn’t have an outlet on the TV so he used my VCR and now I can’t use it for the TV!

I hope I can still watch a video on it, but it’s been about 2 years since I’ve used it.

Thanks to satellite TV I grab On Demand Movies when I feel like it.

Usually Sunday night we’ll watch a movie together.

It doesn’t always work out though because Harold and I do not like the same movies.

Oh well, I’ll sit and watch his Batman movie (he watches the same dam movie a 100 times a week and that’s why I’m sick of it.)

I don’t know how he can stand watching the same thing over and over again, but then again he was raised sitting in front of the TV 24/7 when he was a kid.

That was his Mom’s way of dealing with 15 kids, stick them in front of the Tv to keep them occupied.

They all love watching TV for hours, or working for hours.  They don’t do much else!

I’m the type to sit in front of a computer 24/7 and surf the Internet, feed my brain with any kind of interesting information about science, entertainment or Hollywood news.

I’m always reading about SEO Marketing techniques and surfing hundreds of blogs.

When I find one that I think people will find useful, I feature it here on my Idea Girl Consulting Word Press site.

Back to the office, that was a rabbit trail…

I finally put that cool art bench that I bought at Value Village for $10 in between my two mini desks.

Now I can hook up my printer to any computer.

I still have to get a screen for my dad’s computer then I will have to figure out how to use his music programs.

I’m thinking of putting my love for photography and meditation music together.

I love to tinker with my camera and I like playing the piano and making up songs.

Today I started singing this cool love song, but then I forgot it as soon as it was sung?

I should have a notebook over there with a pen.

I’ll need some sort of gizmo to record the tune, since I haven’t written any music in awhile.

Dad’s computer program will do that for me, if I can figure out how do I hook up my computer to the piano?

I just realized I didn’t get the memory card with it, so I’ll text my sons and ask them what they did with it.

Dad had a gorgeous white electronic grand piano and gave it to the boys when he died. (they got it in the will LOL)

They tell me it doesn’t work!

That thing was $10,000!

The crappy synthesizer we bought for $700 bucks, over 20 years old works fine?

What’s up with that!

Oh well, I hope they kept it around, maybe someone can fix it! :)

Oh yeah, love having the radio on, so much fun to type to tunes. :)

Summer Shopping

summer shopping

summer shopping

I went to the Pen Center today to grab some Yogen Fruz Frozen Green Tea Yogurt and then I took a walk around the mall.

I couldn’t believe how busy it was!

A beehive of activity!

I guess that’s what happens when they have a summer clearance sale and most things are under $10 at the Pen Center.

My problem was, I found lots of things I wanted to buy, but no money to get anything!

That’s always the way with me.

I’ll either have loads of cash and nothing to buy or lots to buy with a few pennies in my pocket!

The Universe really needs to balance things out for me.

Today I told my friend  Steph I’m busy working long hours to create a large base for my business.

After I write my tweleve books, and create my 100 websites and market my writing expertise, then I’ll sell my stuff for millions of dollars.

That’s my goal, to become a millionaire, then I can work on some cool projects.

One dream of mine is to write a script, direct and make a funny movie!

I don’t know squat about the movie industry but I’d like to give it a try.

I am hoping that my books will become movies!

Anyone that has read them so far says it’s like watching a movie.

I like hearing compliments like that!

It encourages me to follow my dreams!

Adam Lambert’s Disco Stick For Lady Gaga

Sexy pics of Adam Lambert dancing to Lady Gaga’s Love Game, I bet she wants his Disco Stick.

Don’t all the girls? LOL

Stand in line chickie, we all do! LOL

I love this song, it’s my favorite!

I can’t wait to see Adam Lamberts new video with Lady Gaga.

I’ll make a prediction, that he will open for one of her concerts in the future or vice versa!
