Now I’ve got the other two to read next, sitting on my table just waiting to be picked up.
I have to choose a time where I can sit back , relax and read for most of the day.
These page turners take up half my day but that’s okay, I’m enjoying myself immensely!
Rebecca Bloomwood is at her antics of shopping yet again and gets herself into more pickles!
This book didn’t keep my attention for long at the beginning , I was able to put it down a few times.
But later, when things go crazy for Rebecca I just had to know what would happen to her!
Rebeccas relationship ends up on the rocks with Luke and its all because of her many lies!
Surprising enough it doesn’t seem to faze her roomate which I find remarkable!
I mean to say is that it looks okay if we lie about things that we buy, shove in the closet and hide from others.
It’s a shopaholics way of not facing the truth about themselves.
Then when someone opens the closet and everything tumbles out, were embarrassed and sorry for it.
But then again, when everything settles down, we go back out and do it again.
We cannot help ourselves, or can we?
Rebecca gets out of debt, makes more money and guess what?
She ends up getting into three times the debt amount she had before!
Now that I can relate to!
It’s true, no matter how much money you make girls, you will spend it, unless you control the AMOUNT of time you spend in a shop!
You take some money in an envelope and leave the cards at home.
That’s the only way to stick to your budget.
Or you can take a certain amount of cash and tell yourself I’ll only buy something if it’s on sale!
Shopaholic takes Manhattan, really makes you look at yourself from other people’s points of view.
Like Rebecca has too when all the lies, deceits and fibs she’s told are revealed to all.
Rebecca must suffer the consequences of her actions, like we do as humans.
Everyday we are given decisions to make.
We must weigh carefully the outcome of such a decision.
For it can change the course of our life…

I love Kinsella’s books! I especially can’t wait to get my hands on her newest one, ‘Twenties Girl’; I’m sure I won’t be disappointed : )
If you love Kinsella, you’ll also love a book called ‘Knickles and Dimes’. It has hilarious characters and a really great story. I’d recommend it!
Anyway, thanks for the review : )
