In 1944 Donald Yetter Gardner while teaching music at public schools in Smithtown, New York. He asked his second grade class what they wanted for Christmas, and noticed that almost all of the students had at least one front tooth missing as they answered in a lisp. Gardner wrote the song in 30 minutes.

When I saw the tooth fairy movie with Destiny Whitlock I thought of this song. This is the earliest performance that I could find on youtube. It has all the original lyrics in it.

Idea:
The Tooth Fairy 2 movie can be around Christmas time. Then we will have Destiny Whitlock and a bunch of hockey players with missing teeth sing this song?
The Tooth Fairy – Movie Review – Linda Randall – Michael Lembeck Dwayne Johnson Julie Andrews Billy Crystal Ashley Judd Chase Ellison Stephen Merchant Ryan Sheckler

The Tooth Fairy – Trailer – 2010
The Tooth Fairy was a heartwarming story full of action, adventure and humor. First we have this hunky muscular hockey player Dwayne Johnson (known as the rock from wwe wrestling). Then we have Julie Andrews as the fairy god mother who see’s all and brings discipline to naughty hockey players who make children disbelieve in the tooth fairy. Stephen Merchant is Tracey – the assistant who trains our hockey player and helps him become an acceptable tooth fairy. Enter Ashley Judd the girlfriend, Chase Ellison the young son who hates the guys that mom dates and a cute little girl played by Destiny Whitlock. The little one who loses a tooth and starts the domino effect of teaching mr meane the meaning of a child’s imagination and how important it is to keep it intact.
It’s a wonderful story about a single mom with two kids, struggling to understand her jock hockey playing boyfriends crazy antics.
It’s hilarious when he’s caught in wings and tutu and must hide what is going on in his life. He snaps under pressure and just about ruins everything in his life including his relationships, his career and his sanity.
Tracey comes to his rescue in more ways than one. They help each other out and we the audience are entertained by it all.
Director Michael Lembeck has a great imagination and it’s shown by the way he makes the rock dress up in the “wrong” fairy costume. Picture a tall, muscular hunk in a pink tutu and you will know what I mean. I couldn’t stop laughing just from that one part of the movie.
I was chuckling throughout the show but it didn’t really give me any gut wrenching laughs. I was hoping for a few of those. You do end up leaving the picture with a smile on your face. Make sure you stay for the credits at the end. I’ll have to say they saved the “funniest” scene for last. It involves Julie Andrews and Billy Crystal arguing about something and it’s hilarious what they do!
There were lots of kids in the audience and they were giggling like mad. The adults were happy to have some “family” time. The movie is appealing to the very young and middle age group. I didn’t see any teens in the audience, which is a shame. I think they would love seeing something they used to believe in, come to life.
Now we have an idea that our tooth fairies aren’t just female, they can also be male, attractive, muscular and hunky.
I adore the rock and I’m a big fan of any movie that he’s in. The same goes for Julie Andrews and Billy Crystal. Although Billy plays a small part in this movie (usually he’s the lead) it was funny just the same. As Julie is the perfect headmistress and heartwarming boss type, she is the perfect person for the “fairy godmother.”
I’ll have to give a nod to the performances of Chase Ellison (can you really play a guitar that good? Your performance was very BELIEVABLE and that is important as you grow as an actor). As for the cute little toothless Destiny Whitlock, your are as cute as a button and perfect for the part. I just wish you would have sung the song… all I want for Christmas is my two front Teeth.
Overall I can see why people rated the movie 8/10 and 10/10 on my scores. It’s a good movie, take the family out for some pop and popcorn and enjoy yourselves.
p.s
I enjoyed their performance as rivals in young and old with our hockey players. It was extremely amusing when our tooth fairy disappears and gives his rival a wedgie to teach him a lesson!

Colin Broderick reads from his new memoir “Orangutan” at Book Revue
Usually at a book signing you will take a few minutes to speak to the crowd.
You want to read a bit of your book to them. Then answers some questions about what inspired you to write the book.
People want to connect with the author at these events. Be sure to always be polite, even when grouchy.
You want to make a good first impression. This will help to increase book sales and make sure you send out a notice a week ahead of time to all the local papers in that area.
I would use youtube to advertise your appearances too. You make a little commercial about it. Also have someone tape your appearances and upload these to youtube. Some people just can’t make it to one of these things, they have to work. They will appreciate you taking the time to share this special moment with them.

Niagara Falls – Queen St – 4Triple5 -Amore Pizza – History of a Haunting
Here is a video I made from photos taken back in the summer of 2008.
we were visiting Niagara Falls Ontario and checking out Queen St.
The downtown area has been revitalized thanks to a project from Dean Tedesco of the Niagara Gallery.
It’s a lovely street to walk down because you can find something to do day or night.
You have little cafe’s, ice cream shops, a bakery, gourmet cuisine for sandwiches, vegetarian dishes, soups, and pizza.
It’s a festive air in the summer. They were having a street festival at the time.
Unfortunately we arrived when it was over. We were planning to go to watch a WWE Pay Per View.
It didn’t work. So we ended up at 4 Triple 5 because I was curious about Sayge channeling the spirit of Zoltar.
It was strange because that evening Sophie a psychic told me that I would write some stories about ghosts.
It all came true. I have put the stories, visions and dreams on several websites.
I’ve stopped tapping into the psychic side of things a few months back.
It was exhausting and troubling my family.
I will be sharing the stories from my journals. Most has been forgotten so I have to refer back to the notes I posted online.
I’ve also created a shopper – tourist site called La Moda Shoes. It will give you information about the local malls and eats in St Catharines and Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.
I’ve also posted messages on the site in 5 different languages. (based on my experiences with local tourists)
