I can see a bit of shopaholic from Sophie kinsella’s books in Fleur who is the gal in Madeline Wickham’s (another author name for Sophie Kinsella) book the gatecrasher.
A witty and fun story about Fleur, gorgeous, cool and composed who crashes memorials and funerals to meet rich guys. She seduces them then steals them blind. Only she ends up meeting a really cool family and she finds it hard to do the usual thing.
I loved the way the characters all blend into each others lives. Many surprises along the way, the story line has an even tempo.
I didn’t put the book down once. I started reading it last night and finished it today. LOL
I enjoyed every minute of it and I have the next one on standby..
I’m going to start reading that right after I’ve finished my blogs.
It’s too hot to sleep so grab a book and have a good read until you doze off from exhaustion…
the dishes can wait..
