the idea girl says

i really enjoyed reading this book the most because it’s about Luke Striker a movie star trying to be a normal kid when he attends in secret a high school and meet’s Jenny.

he helps to change her life by saying several simple words to her, “be yourself.”

instead of being what everyone else wants you to be…

the story follows several problems that arise being a high school kid and how graduation can put a lot of pressure on you to be cool and not stick up for yourself like your supposed too.

Meg’s book are a great study for anyone who is looking to start writing any sort of novel and i’ll tell you why.

if you want to learn how to describe a setting in a novel, check out the third paragraph on page 103.

“Still, you never knew if you’d wake up on any given Saturday in June and have a perfect spring day – temperatures in the seventies, warm breezes blowing the scent of honeysuckle everywhere, clear blue sky, rustling green leaves in the treetops – or something gray and blustery, with temps in the sixies and your toes freezing in the sandals you word so comfortably the day before.”

on page 105 in the 3rd paragraph she gives the characters a great description in as little words as possible.

I enjoyed this light-hearted book in so many ways, from learning how to describe a setting or character to the story line itself. A smart character that doesn’t know her own worth or merit but soon learns to stand up for herself and those around her affecting everyone in the school and making it different.

i loved it and you will too!

Continuing our Meditation / Journey along the South West Coast Path, Cornwall U.K. we begin at Cawsand, pass through woodland and emerge at Penlee Point. Here we experience the view before descending steps to Queen Adelaide’s Gothic Chapel.

Our Meditation continues on to Rame Head (97 meters above sea level), with it’s panoramic views. Here we enter the 15th Century Chapel dedicated to St Michael.

We continue on to Queener Point, past Polhawn Cove toward Whitsand Bay. Finally we ascend the path to a signpost and small parking area near Wiggle — the starting points for our following Meditations 4 & 5.

PS Meditation 4 , along with this video, completes a circular walk returing inland to Cawsand , and Meditation 5 continues our Meditation / Journey along the SW Coast Path toward Portwrinkle. ( To be uploaded soon )
