Ex ice breaker and freighter, the 51m ‘Lissa Solklint’ struggles to hold anchor in 60 knot winds in Warnbro Sound, south of the city of Perth, Western Australia. Minutes before this was filmed the winds had peaked at 75 knots. She dragged her anchor some 250 metres.

The ‘Lissa Solklint’ has quite a colorful history, including being impounded in Bali when it’s owner was arrested and jailed for three months for not reporting to authorities that he had weapons on board.

The owner explained that he had the weapons to ward off pirates.

He said he had been boarded and robbed by pirates off Peru 18 months earlier and had repelled a second attack with gunfire.
