I enjoyed Hugh Dancy’s performance and Isla Fisher along with the rest of the cast…

We all loved the movie, and now I’ve got to say the book was awesome, a real page turner!

I was browsing around the flea market last week and stumbled upon this book for $1.

A dollar that was well spent!

I didn’t use my credit card, I used my piggy bank.

My emergency piggy bank with dimes, nickels and pennies.

I had no money but I had some change and I invested in a book for once!

My premise was, I loved the movie and now I should read the book!

Actually it was more a research move.

How can I write a book and have it turned into a movie?

Then I read the acknowledgements.

I’d like to thank my friend and agent…

Now I know how it got published.

At first I was struggling to read it, all the fashion name dropping and financial stuff, but then I got into the story and literally couldn’t put the book down.
Believe me I tried, I was supposed to watch Raw last night.

I sat beside my honey and read the book and missed most of the matches.

I did see Chris Jericho get batted around in that lumberjack match and then I went back to the book.

I was a zombie stuck in a time warp.

Harold tried to talk to me, but I was off in another world of fun and mystery!

I started reading Confessions of a Shopaholic yesterday morning and finished it late last night!

The book is a little different from the movie which was odd but I’ve seen that happen before!

I could relate to this book, in fact it reminded me of my own life, but we won’t go there…

I loved the characters imagination as each day brings new dreams, visions and possibilities!

It was a diary of imagination , mixed with financial know how and you learn many things about the fashion and world of finance!

I think it’s great that the author who was a financial journalist for many years, adapted a book around something as tedious as money and made it spectacular!

I learned many things and most of it I had no clue what she was talking about but it was fun just the same.

I never follow the world of fashion, other than watching America and Canada’s Next Top Model! 🙂

Here is the premiere of the movie with Sophie Kinsella, Isla Fisher (Becky)

Isla Fisher talks about being Becky – Rebecca Bloomwood!
