Sharing my writing tips about setting up your plot lines before you start to write your next novel for the Nanowrimo challenge in 2011. I show you how to find your word counts (i was at around 9000 when this video shot by nov 6 I had over 52,000 words done) and tips on how to quickly write the story and leave stuff out but note what you need to add later.

I use paper and pen to write my novels. I have since I lost a WHOLE manuscript from a defective flash drive.

I spent 3 months writing a book took it to the library to upload it to my email and it got a virus…

I lost the whole set of 3 months work including all my article submissions for magazines.

now I back up everything on my computer and 3 flash drives and I print up a copy for myself and hand write it. It’s a lot of work for ONE project. I’m hoping in the future I won’t have to do all that work.

It’s the old fashioned way i’m sure but i fiind i remember things better by hand writing then just typing. I was sharing this fact with the girls at the Nanowrimo kick off party at boston pizza on oct 29,2011 and they said the same thing. 🙂
