In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Traditional Cranberry Sauce. This is the perfect accompaniment for turkey or ham at Thanksgiving or Christmas.

2 cups fresh cranberries, rinsed
½ cup water
½ cup honey
2 tablespoons orange zest
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ teaspoon ground cloves
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
a couple of sprigs of mint, for garnish

In a medium-sized pot, combine cranberries and water. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook, stirring occasionally, 8 to 10 minutes. (Skins of cranberries should have popped and the pulp will have thickened.)

Remove from heat and let sit at room temperature 15 minutes. Add honey, orange zest, cinnamon, cloves, and ginger. Stir until combined.

Pour into a bowl and garnish with a couple of sprigs of fresh mint. Serve warm or cold with turkey or ham. I hope you will love this recipe as much as I do! –Betty 🙂
