In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Christmas Roast Chicken Gravy. This gravy is made from the chicken broth of the Christmas Roast Chicken in the previous video. The recipe will work with any chicken broth.


3 to 4 cups chicken broth
1 cup water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
additional water, for thinning gravy, if needed

Place chicken broth in a heavy pot on stove. Mix 2 tablespoons cornstarch into 1 cup water. Add to chicken broth. Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Cook, stirring constantly, until gravy is thickened and bubbly. Add water as desired, if gravy is too thick. If gravy is too thin, mix up additional cornstarch with small amount of water and carefully add to gravy, tempering with hot gravy before the addition is made. When gravy is done, remove it from heat and pour into serving bowl. Serve immediately. YUM! –Betty ♥
