Valentines Day Movie Review – Garry Marshall Katherine Fugate Abby Kohn Marc Silverstein Ashton Kutcher Jennifer Garner Bradley Cooper Kathy Bates
When Garry Marshall created the TV Show Happy Days he brought something to the silver screen that would be timeless. I still watch that show a few times a week.
Whenever I’m feeling blue I’ll watch Happy Days, because it makes me feel better.
I am reminded of how friendship is important, family and doing what you love the most, being entertained.
Garry Marshall directs the Valentines Day movie in the exact same way.
He goes from couple to couple, scene to scene effortlessly and you feel like nothing is missing.
Katherine Fugate writes a screenplay about how single, divorced, married and gay people celebrate valentines day.
It’s heartwarming, funny, and you will shed a few tears here and there.
Not of sadness, but of joy.
A moving story that hits home.
A timeless classic is what this movie will become, kind of like the movie with James Stewart called “It’s a Wonderful Life.”
The cast was great and Ashton Kutcher pretty much has a starring role in the movie if you ask me.
He and Jennifer Gardner share the limelight but in a different way.
Ashton made me feel like he’s a wonderful warm fuzzy cuddle bug that just wants to have a family and belong to someone.
I connected to his character immediately.
Jennifer Garner, I had to warm up to about the middle of the movie, we start to connect with her.
Shirley McClaine and Hector Elizondo play the perfect 50 year in love couple, their story is compelling and we all wish to be like them in the future.
Bryce Robinson plays the little guy in love and does a very good job of making me remember my younger days in grade school. Fabulous performance, I can see him doing some movie roles in the future too!
Queen Latifah I love all your performances and playing the boss was your speciality, you made me howl when you answered the russian phone call without even blinking an eye.
Anne Hathaway the girl who has a big secret yet tries to live a normal life, your tears were endearing and I cried with you.
Jessica Alba played the perfect single girl role, although I think your character should have been invited to the party too!
Jessica Biel, lovely melt down darling, share those chocolates with me. 🙂
Eric Dane a buff actor, good eye candy.
Bradley Cooper, mr sweet and sentimental, I’d love to sit beside you for 14 hours on a plane and be entertained… anytime..
Julia Roberts.. loved your performances from when you were a teenie bopper, a classic actress and someday will be herald as another audrey hebburn.
Emma Roberts I enjoyed your Nancy Drew movie and hope to see you in more. You’re a great teenager but I’d love to see you in more starring roles because you’ve got what it takes.
Patrick Dempsey …your sexy even when a bad boy. 🙂
Jamie Foxx … perfect sports newscaster, maybe if you ever retire that’s what you will do after acting.. doubt it though, you’re a long time talented actor who will thrill millions in the years to come.
Topher Grace … I haven’t seen much of you but it’s was great watching you play mr nice guy who likes to date then falls in love very quickly.
Carter Jenkins playing another teen role, you’ll be in more movies too.
Taylor Swift, I love you but the dippy blonde role didn’t suit you. I’d rather see you play a smart sweet girl instead.
Taylor Lautner your sexy in anything and loved the comical version of you as the “sports dude.”
Larry Miller.. nice to see you again, great flight attendant with a warm heart.
George Lopez.. your the funny guy, they didn’t give you enough “humor” lines, but great supporting role to ashton
and there are others but Im too tired to type anymore. 🙂
